Our Trainers & Facilitators

The Cape Town TEFL/TESOL Training Institute (CTTTI) trainers are qualified professionals who have experience teaching English in a variety of settings.

Our main course facilitator and course designer is Liz Biggs, BA(Hons), HDE (Higher Diploma in Education), MA, CELTA, Diploma TESOL (London Teacher Training College), Further Certificate for Teachers of Business English (from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry). She has taught in China, Thailand and South Africa and is currently in China doing Teacher training.

Our resident facilitator:
Matthew Van As is our resident course facilitator. He holds BmusEd Hon, P.G.C.E (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in English and Music, TEFL, TEYLT and CELTA.

He has had years of Classroom experience, both local and international, youth and adults. He has managed and taught at large international companies in Cape Town and Shanghai to small Island schools in Thailand.
